Na Balam means The house of the Jaguar in the Maya language. Na is for house and Balam for Jaguar. The jaguar was a deity for the old Mexican cultures. Zazil Ha means clear water in Maya and is the main restaurant at Na Balam. A refuge of gastronomy where fresh and natural ingredients are chosen, simple or sophisticated dishes are served with care by the gentle hands of Mexican waiters.

Our dining room Zazil Ha is a beautiful, romantic island restaurant set in a Mayan Palapa featuring Mayan, vegetarian and fusion cuisine; it is considered one of the best on the island; dinning here is an experience you will always remember.
